  1. Who we contact. We call or text only people who asked us for help (by form, call or text) about their own request, and only about that request. We do not buy phone lists, cold-call, or send texts to anyone who hasn't opted in.
  2. Internal do-not-call list. When anyone asks us to stop — by replying STOP or any similar words, saying "stop" or pressing 9 on a call, emailing hello@columbusohiokitchenguide.com, using columbusohiokitchenguide.com/privacy-choices/, or telling us any other reasonable way — we add the number to our internal do-not-call list immediately, and in any case within 10 business days, for every site and channel we operate. The request is kept permanently.
  3. Pros. We pass new opt-outs about an introduced request to the matched pro within one business day, and our agreement requires the pro to honor them.
  4. National and state registries. We do not make telemarketing calls or texts to numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry or a state registry unless the person asked us to contact them (and then only for up to 3 months after their inquiry for anything beyond their request) or gave written permission. We check the registries at least every 31 days before any contact that isn't a direct response to a request.
